Readers Review
Dear Mr. Jaganathan,
I hope you're doing well.
My name is Juliet M, and I am one of the organizers and co-hosts of Manhattan Book Club, a global community of passionate readers who connect through virtual events, meaningful discussions, and a shared love of literature.
I recently came across Don't Sell Your Brain for Peanuts: Empower your Human Potential Beyond AI's Limits, and I was immediately intrigued by both its title and its central message. In a time when AI is rapidly becoming woven into everyday life, your book raises a profoundly important question: How do we embrace technological advancement without surrendering the very human qualities that make innovation, creativity, and critical thinking possible?
What particularly resonated with me was your idea that the future belongs not simply to those who use AI, but to those who can question it, challenge it, and think beyond its statistical boundaries. The distinction you draw between AI as a cognitive amplifier and AI as a cognitive sedative creates the kind of intellectual tension that naturally sparks meaningful discussion among readers.
Books that challenge assumptions and encourage people to rethink the way they engage with the world often leave a lasting impact, and your work feels very much like one of those books.
Because of this, I believe our readers would genuinely value the opportunity to discuss your ideas and learn more about the thinking and experiences that inspired the book.
At Manhattan Book Club, our community brings together readers from around the world who enjoy thoughtful literary conversations and engaging directly with authors. Previous featured authors have particularly enjoyed the opportunity to connect with readers from different countries and backgrounds through authentic one-on-one and group discussions about their work, ideas, and creative journeys.
I believe your book could inspire fascinating conversations within our community, especially around creativity, human potential, ethics, and the evolving relationship between people and technology.
If this sounds interesting, simply reply with **"I'd love to learn more,"** and I'd be delighted to share additional details. There is absolutely no obligation.
Thank you for your time, and congratulations on creating a book that encourages readers not only to use technology, but to think more deeply about what it means to remain fully human in an increasingly automated world.
Warm regards,
Juliet M,
Organizer & Co-Host,
Manhattan Book Club.

Blending healthcare, politics, and the massive changes in the IT world over the last few decades into a fun crime was really a vey good idea. The book is very interesting and engrossing.
An appealing feature is the Indian sensibility running through the book. Jaganathan sir's writing often connects modern challenges with older wisdom, showing that questions of discipline, judgment, priority, and self-mastery are not new.
Through narrations and pictures it gives a very good glimpse of growth of IT industry.
Overall, Select and Delete is a meaningful, timely, and readable work. It reminds us that wisdom is not only the art of choosing well, but also the courage to remove what has become unnecessary. For readers seeking clarity in work, relationships, habits, and personal growth, the book offers a useful and memorable guide.

Select and Delete by Shri T. Jagannathan is a deeply reflective and thought-provoking crime thriller work that beautifully captures the essence of life’s journey. Through engaging narratives, insightful observations, and gentle wisdom, the author reminds readers that life is as much about what we choose to retain as it is about what we consciously let go.
When I purchased this book on a Tuesday, I kept it for weekend. But as I do with newly purchased Novels, I read a few pages and ended up finishing the book before weekend .
The book encourages introspection on relationships, experiences, ambitions, and memories, highlighting how selective acceptance and graceful detachment can lead to personal growth and inner peace. Written in a simple yet impactful style, it resonates with readers across generations and leaves them with valuable lessons on prioritising what truly matters.
Another appealing feature is the Indian sensibility running through the book. Jaganathan’s writing often connects modern challenges with older wisdom, showing that questions of discipline, judgment, priority, and self-mastery are not new.
What makes the book particularly appealing is its ability to blend practical life lessons with emotional depth. It is not merely a book to be read but one to be revisited, as different chapters reveal new meanings at different stages of life.
A compelling and enriching read, Select and Delete is a reminder that wisdom often lies in knowing what to preserve and what to leave behind.
